Dear Friends,

Once again we are amazed at the enthusiasm of our donors and grateful for the overwhelming generosity!

You helped us raise $173,842! Our Spring Into Caring goal of $150k felt like a stretch. Exceeding it means a LOT—to us of course, but most importantly for our Joshua Station resident families. We have big plans this year and this allows us to move forward without delay.

Along with the many facets of our Housing That Heals, we’ll focus now on our mental health center expansion. That involves remodeling a space in our Wyandot building next door, complete with a welcome area and therapy rooms. We’ll expand our mental health staff to serve more current residents and alumni of our program. We know how important this will be in sustaining the growth and forward steps they take during their time with us (typically two years) and beyond.

Many of you were with us for our Spring Into Caring Celebration event on April 9. What a joyous evening! Our staff has never been more encouraged. From the excitement in the room and in the building tours, we know you were too. It was fun to overhear supporters saying to each other, “I knew this place was amazing, but I didn’t know it was THIS amazing!
