Stir Us By Your Fire
O Beloved Creator whose Spirit burns within us,
may this season with its long hot days
stir us to fun-filled activities with those we love.
May our passion for your life expressed in us
bring hope to those in need,
engagement with the struggle for justice,
and a renewed energy as we work for peace.
As the lengthening of days opens life
to more time spent outdoors,
may our eyes be opened to your presence—
speaking to us through our natural world.
O Beloved Creator,
transform us by your Spirit’s fire within.
