Dear friends,

Each year in Colorado, generous people like you join an upswell of goodwill on Colorado Gives Day. It has become one of the largest public events of its kind in the nation.

This year it’s Tuesday, December 6. You’ll be hearing about it from our state and city leaders, and on all the local media outlets. There will be an energetic rally at the State Capitol that day. Of course, you can join the fun that way, but you don’t even need to be in Colorado (or be a resident). You can jump in right now, in advance, with just a click:

GIVE NOW

I’d love to have you participate with me, including Mile High Ministries in your giving. As you may know, organizations like ours rely on the upcoming season for much of our funding in the coming year. That includes Joshua Station and Clara Brown Commons, the two places where we’re building communities of home, healing, hospitality, and hope.

Thanks to the sponsorship of Colorado corporations, your gift to Mile High Ministries will be boosted by a portion of a $1.4 million incentive fund… deepening your impact.

All gifts made through Colorado Gives 365, NOW through December 6, qualify for the extra incentive. (No need to preschedule your gift as in years past.)

You may donate to our Community Development Fund, Joshua Station, and Clara Brown Commons. (Gifts to Joshua Station and Clara Brown Commons qualify for Denver Enterprise Zone tax credit.)

You may also donate to our affiliate programs: Denver Urban Semester, Centering Way, Urban Leadership Coaching, and Leaders and Interns Formation Experience.

Qs? Please give us a call us at 303-586-5992 ext 109 or drop us an email.

The holidays bring us all chances to join others in celebration—in small intimate gatherings and larger public events such as church services or Denver’s Parade of Lights. I like how Colorado Gives Day has become a big ‘ol celebration with thousands of our neighbors genuinely enthusiastic about their joy in giving.

Blessings and peace,

Jeff Johnsen
