From Our Residents – Thanks for 2023

From Our Residents – Thanks for 2023

Dear friends,

I wanted to pass along this heartfelt poster sitting on the counter of our Joshua Station Welcome Center this week. Does it touch your heart as much as mine? Every day, our resident moms, dads, and kids express how grateful they are to be here, and the pathway it represents toward their futures.

In turn, we are grateful for them. Our residents are the primary bearers of light and life in our redemptive housing communities.

Our residents know, as we do, that our shared life weaves together the everyday gifts of donors, volunteers, staff, and their neighbors. It is truly an expression of God’s loving presence.

So, I want to close our year on this note of gratitude for your partnership and care. If you prayed, volunteered, donated, visited, or shared the good news of our work with a friend, thank you. It’s bearing beautiful fruit, and we have lots to look forward to in the year ahead.

Warmly,

Jeff Johnsen

Executive Director
