TAX BENEFITS
25% Tax Credit (CO State Taxes)
Special 25% Tax Credit for Colorado filers: Donations to MHM totaling at least $1,000 annually may qualify. Please contact us for more information.
Charitable Contribution Subtraction (CO State Taxes)
Save on Colorado taxes even if you claim the standard deduction on Federal taxes. Subtraction equals total qualifying charitable donations minus $500.
Corporations (Federal Taxes)
The corporate tax deduction currently is 25% of taxable income.

Our Commitment to Donors
Donations to Mile High Ministries are handled with the donor’s best interest in mind.
We honor your intentions. Mile High Ministries, and its programs and affiliates, gratefully accept all donations that can be used in accordance with the stated mission and vision of the organization. If you designate your gift to be used for a specific program, we will honor your wishes. (In the event we cannot, we will consult with you before redirecting or returning.)
We safeguard your information. We do not share or sell a donor’s personal information with anyone else, nor send mailings or appeals on behalf of other organizations. We do not buy or sell contact lists.
We are committed to the highest standards of financial accountability and transparency. We welcome questions about our financial statements: IRS 990 Report, Annual Report, and Audited Financial Statements.
We meet and exceed best-practice standards of The Donor Bill of Rights.* Philanthropy is based on voluntary action for the common good. It is a tradition of giving and sharing that is primary to the quality of life. To assure that philanthropy merits the respect and trust of the general public, and that donors and prospective donors can have full confidence in the not-for-profit organizations and causes they are asked to support, we declare that all donors have these rights:
- To be informed of the organization’s mission, of the way the organization intends to use donated resources, and of its capacity to use donations effectively for their intended purposes.
- To be informed of the identity of those serving on the organization’s governing board, and to expect the board to exercise prudent judgment in its stewardship responsibilities.
III. To have access to the organization’s most recent financial statements.
- To be assured their gifts will be used for the purposes for which they were given.
- To receive appropriate acknowledgement and recognition.
- To be assured that information about their donation is handled with respect and with confidentiality to the extent provided by law.
VII. To expect that all relationships with individuals representing organizations of interest to the donor will be professional in nature.
VIII. To be informed whether those seeking donations are volunteers, employees of the organization or hired solicitors. [Note: Mile High Ministries does not hire contracted solicitors.]
- To have the opportunity for their names to be deleted from mailing lists that an organization may intend to share. [Note: Mile High Ministries does not share mailing lists.]
- To feel free to ask questions when making a donation and to receive prompt, truthful and forthright answers.
