Cha’Rel Sings: Music That Moved a Community
Dear friends,
This summer, music did what it does best — it brought people together. At Clara Brown Commons, we hosted two powerful evenings under the banner of Cha’Rel Sings, celebrating community connection, joy, and purpose.
On the first night, the Cha’Rel Sings Adele fundraising concert transformed the CBC Musical Lounge into a soulful sanctuary. With her rich voice and heartfelt performance, Cha’Rel Wright led an intimate, powerful tribute to Adele’s music — and to the deeper work of building community through care. Guests enjoyed great food, joined in generous giving, and helped raise critical funds for programs that support the holistic well-being of Clara Brown Commons residents.
Then on following evening, we opened the courtyard for a free community concert — a vibrant celebration filled with Tacos Beny taco stand, Little Man Ice Cream, kids’ activities, the Denver Nuggets Kyle Speller and Rocky, Denver Fire Department engine tours, giveaways and neighbors from all over the area. It was a joyful reminder that community doesn’t just happen — it’s built with intention, inclusion, and shared experiences.
Both nights uplifted the mission of Clara Brown Commons: to be more than housing — to be a home. A place where families find support, youth find opportunity, and everyone finds a sense of belonging.
We are filled with gratitude for our sponsors, including Colorado Access and Currant Designs, whose generosity helped bring this vision to life.
If you weren’t able to attend, it’s not too late to make a difference.

The music may have ended, but the movement continues. To enjoy all the event images, head over to our Facebook page.
We hope you’ll join us again in June 2026.
