Christmas Store

Join the Joy!

Each year Mile High Ministries hosts a Christmas Store where Joshua Station families shop for their children and pay only $5 per gift. Parents in our programs desire the dignity of providing Christmas gifts for their families, and you can partner with them.

Financial gifts are greatly appreciated. $100 provides a festive and affordable shopping experience for a mom, dad, or caregiver for one child.

Or shop on your own (locally or on our Amazon Wish List) from our carefully-prepared list of preferred gifts, and ship/bring them unwrapped to Joshua Station by December 2.

Ship or bring unwrapped toys by December 2 to:

Joshua Station
2330 W. Mulberry Place
Denver, CO 80204

Volunteers are also needed for the shopping day:
Saturday, December 7.

Invitation to ALL our MHM Supporters and Friends

We’d love for you to stop by the Store and say hello!

  • 9:00 – 11:00am at Joshua Station

  • You’ll be encouraged and uplifted—what a joyful time of celebration with our staff, volunteers, and resident families.

F.A.Q.

Last year, over 280 kids received gifts from the Christmas Store. This year that number will be even higher as we’ve invited our families living at Clara Brown Commons (another program of Mile High Ministries) to shop the Christmas Store as well.

Most volunteer shifts are about 4 hours, starting at 8:30am and ending by 12:30pm. We will start the morning in the Community Kitchen at Joshua Station with a volunteer rally. This will include introductions of the volunteer leads, singing a Christmas carol and a prayer. Volunteers should be at their various stations by 9am. Clean-up will start between Noon-12:30pm.

  1. 1 roll of wrapping paper per volunteer
  2. 1 dozen cookies per volunteer
  3. Water and snacks for yourself!

You can park in designated parking spots in the inside or outside parking lots of Joshua Station, in the parking lot for the building next door on Wyandot St. or there is street parking available. If you are volunteer, we ask that you try and park further away to allow shoppers to park in the closer spots.

Yes! You may shop for kids living in your household that are between the ages of 0-18 years old. You must pre-register as a shopper by November 8. A shopper registration email will be sent out to all volunteers and other approved shoppers on November 1.
